He is definitely the best character of the story. Bantam weight is under 120lbs in boxing and the 2nd lightest division there is. Thankfully the film's portrayal of him was more than just someone who can box, Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8464167044258345204.post-17556422956323965132010-05-29T11:30:34.133-07:002010-05-29T11:30:34.133-07:00I'm glad you mentioned Night Owl, but I'm ...I'm glad you mentioned Night Owl, but I'm surprised that in a discussion about Batman he doesn't play prominently.

Night owl is the 'surface' Batman. He's that 70s gadget-wielding space alien dinosaur-fighting Adam West Batman.

Rorscach is closer to the gritty core of his personality though.

Plus like... we really shouldn't overlook VicTyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12305974455384425337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8464167044258345204.post-56834060969445030102009-03-11T21:09:00.000-07:002009-03-11T21:09:00.000-07:00Thanks for that excellent point!! Thinking about it all, I'm really amazed at how much effort Alan Moore put into coming up with characters that perfectly fit the roles (as opposed to mostly the muscle bound hunks that all normal super heroes tend to be)!Ambi Advaitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16890663767569745190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8464167044258345204.post-83234111767177426912009-03-11T19:57:00.000-07:002009-03-11T19:57:00.000-07:00Love your articles, however I would like to add th...Love your articles, however I would like to add the Moore was bang on in his physical depiction or Rorschach, he's the perfect build for a bantam fighter! A bantam fight, BTW, is a small guy who fights like a terrier, all rage and agression, completely oblivious to pain, in order to make up for his size disadvantage. So to sum up, I agree with everything you've said, I just thought I'd add this Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8464167044258345204.post-56528314317525842152009-02-26T10:45:00.000-08:002009-02-26T10:45:00.000-08:00Thanks for the comment.
